PokerStars.de Shooting Star Johannes Straßmann had a great day and finished on rank 3 in the chip count of the PokerStars European Poker Tour London - by eliminating the last PokerStrategy community member.

The Tour a guest in LondonStraßmann secured the chip lead for the first time against Raphael 'Superwetti' Kampshoff of all people. After the tournament officials ordered both at the same table along with a third German, Alex Jung, it had to happen sooner or later.

Johannes Straßmann On the board of , Straßmann went all-in after a raise from Kampshoff and showed pocket aces after the call. Kampshoff held for the flush draw. However, neither turn nor river came up with a spade, and Straßmann moved to the front of the field for the first time, while Raphael had to join the rails.

At the end of the day, Straßmann had over 400,000 chips in front of him and thus finished on rank 3 in the chip count.

Other survivors of Day 2 include Team PokerStars Pro Marcin Horecki from Poland, WSOP finalist Peter Eastgate from Denmark, and Brazilian Indy stock car racer Gualter Salles.
