Here is a list of common abbreviations:

AF Aggression Factor - ratio between a player's raising and calling frequencies
ATS Attempt to steal - how often a player attacks the blinds from late position
B/C Bet / Call - a player bets and then calls an opposing raise
B/F Bet / Fold - a player bets and then folds to an opposing raise

BSS Big Stack Strategy - strategy for playing with a full stack
BU Button - position of the dealer
C/B Check behind - checking after an opponent has checked
C/C Check / Call - a player checks and then calls an opposing bet

C/R Check / Raise - a player checks and then raises an opposing wager
CO Cutoff - position before the dealer (BU)

ICM Independent Chip Model - mathematical model for a tournament at high blind levels

ITM In the money - a player is ITM in a tournament if he is guaranteed a place that will win money
LAG Loose-Aggressive - a LAG plays many hands and plays them aggressively.

MTT Multi Table Tournament - a tournament that begins with so many particpants that it must be played on many tables at once.

OOP Out of Position - A player is OOP if he must act before his opponent
PFR Preflop Raise - a raise before the flop, or a measure of how often a player makes such raises

SH Shorthanded - a game with 3-6 players
SHC Starting Hands Chart - tabular overview of the actions to take for a particular starting hand, given conditions at the table like position and opposing action
SNG Sit and Go - Tournament that begins when a fixed number of players register for it
SSS Shortstack Strategy - Strategy for play with a small stack in no limit games
STT Single Table Tournament - tournament played on just one table
TAF Tell A Friend - a bonus system wehre a player gets a bounty for recruiting new players
TAG Tight-Aggressive - a player is a TAG if he plays few hands but plays them aggressively
TPMK Top Pair / Medium Kicker - A pair with one starting card and the highest board card with a second card of moderate value
TPTK Top Pair / Top Kicker - A pair with one starting card and the highest board card with a second card that is as high as possible
UTG Under the Gun - position directly after the big blind
VPIP / VP$IP Voluntary put $ in pot - percent of hands for which a player invests money in the first round of wagers
WSD Won at Showdown - how often a player wins the showdowns he sees
WTSD Went to Showdown - how often a player goes to the showdown
